You can change the Data Execution Prevention settings by going to My Computer | Properties | Advanced | Performance | Data Execution Prevention. You can select the "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only", or you can select the "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:". If you select the latter, you must include all of the affected eDoc applications in the list of allowed executables.
