Data Conversion
eDoc Innovations Inc. provides data conversion services for clients who upgrade to Rev 5. Because Rev 5 uses the advanced MySQL database technology to organize and manage your important information, the data you stored using previous DocLogic versions which were based on Borland, must be converted. The conversion process can be very time consuming and expensive but eDoc gives you three convenient methods to ensure your data is converted correctly: we train you how so you can do it yourself or we will do it as part of Remote Training Services.
- We teach you to do it yourself as part of your Rev 5 in-person training. As you know, a prerequisite for upgrading to Rev 5 from previous DocLogic revisions is that you must be thoroughly trained on how to use the new, improved, and advanced features. This training takes place before the upgrade is installed by our staff. The training is done at eDoc headquarters or regionally during a two day training session. The first day of your training is focused primarily on conversion. Please see the company calendar for details and if you don't find a prescheduled time and date, just ask us and we may be able to set something up in your area. Please call for cost. (There is a minimum attendee requirement for scheduled sessions.)
- We do the conversion for you as part of your remote training option. Because we know you may not want to take the time to do learn how to do conversion, a task you will only have to perform once, eDoc also has the option of remote training. eDoc performs the conversion so that your remote training session is all done in just one day. We set up a link and train you on the new, improved and advanced features of DocLogic while you are at your facilities using your data. Training combined with data conversion costs are a minimum of $2500 but you can train as many people as you want.
- The third option is to have us do your conversion but have you come to the in-person training session. The cost for data conversion is a minimum of $2500. Please call for the cost for attending in-person training.
